New Zealand Police Clearance Authorization

Hi there,

I am completing my NZ Police Clearance Form from: http://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Supplemental/ACK%20-%20Auckland.pdf

The instructions say I must include the Post case number and the NVC bar code sheet if the clearance is to be returned to the NVC.

My questions are:

1. What is the post case number?

2. Do I need a NVC bar code sheet? If so, where do I get this?

3. In the top right hand corner of the form it asks for:

Requesting Office

Requesting Office Email Address

Applicant Case Number

A#

Am I required to fill this section out? If so, what are the answers to these?

Is this a DV case? NVC is not involved in DV cases. If it's not DV, ask a mod to move your post to the appropriate forum for relevant answers.

Thanks for the reply SusieQQQ. It is a DV case. Good to know I don't need to use the NVC. Do you know any further info on point one and three? Thanks again!

Sorry no, but I don't recall having ever seen NZ selectees mention anything tricky about their police clearances. Isn't this just a standard form to get the records released?

Yes, it's just a standard form from the link I posted. I was just unsure about the top right section where it asks for requesting office, requesting office email address, applicant case number and A# and whether these were something I needed to fill out.
