Leaving Saudi residency out to avoid need for police cert (split)

First, you state Saudi in your header and then state United Arab Emirates. UAE is not Saudi Arabia they are different countries. Did she work in both KSA and UAE but is "forgetting" the details of her past employment record? Second, why would she even consider omitting information that is relevant and risk receiving a ban for misrepresentation? Makes you wonder what else she is "not saying" aka hiding.

My advice be honest, provide all information that is requested and follow the laws of the US. It makes this process go much more smoothly and creates less stress.

Thanks for all the advice. Agreed, honesty is the best policy. We will comply.

Actually, she is working in Hong Kong on contract now. We have been considering waiting till she finishes in 6 months and returns to Philippines to apply because her employer is difficult about time off for anything, but of course that's a delay we wish to avoid. Is there a subgroup for Hong Kong that I might join?

AS stated Saudi is not part of the UAE. It is GCC. And if you think they can't find these things out you are absolutely wrong. It's the United States Government and you think they just let things like this "slip" through the cracks? One slip, and it could mean a terrorist is in our country. How scary is that? These things are taken very seriously. Also, leaving out that you lived in Saudi or any GCC or UAE country would be a HUGE issue for immigration.

Don't omit they will find it in the background check. The they can be banned and you don't want that. They are doing those checks very thoroughly with ll that's occurred.

It's time to teach your fiance that lying does not go over well in the US.

Hmmm

Well unless you are a Presidential Candidate.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
