Hello VJ family. Finally after all the challenges and hurdles, we are approved for the conditional greencard!! thanks for those who continued to support us through this and what felt like a hopeless journey, I don't know what I would have done without the advice I received on here.. everything from preparing for the STOKES in Jamaica to rescheduling the AOS after I had to leave the country was spot on and it was because of that advice that I am now at this point and my husbands status is now printing new card! Thank you God and thank you VJ for no more immigration for the next 21 months.

I am truly grateful!

Now I will throw any and everything into a box as I was told to do preparing for ROC but until then, me and my husband can finally breath for the next 21 months at least.

good luck to everyone else who is continuing the fight! and if I can help you at all with anything from an RFE for what website you met on,denied K1 interview, reaching out to your congressman Stokes Interview, missed AOS interview.. Whew.. just let me know and I will tell you what I know from experience. The road was not easy but definitely worth it.

Much Love,

Lala

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Lala :) I'm glad to hear it all went well, and you have a bit of a break. Glad you also remember the BOE (Box 'O Evidence) :dancing: All the best to you both, you certainly earned it!

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Happy to see another update from you. Congrats!!

Can you tell us more about the interview though? What kind of questions? Did they ask for any documents? What did you bring with you?

Thanks

Sorry for the delay in response. We were called in pretty quick waited 15 minutes. He asked us when we got married and asked for a copy of the marriage certificate. We brought the original too. He then asked me how many times I been to Jamaica. After I told him I went there a 2nd time for a stokes he was surprised that they did that to me he said. He then started to explain the conditional AOS and what to do in 21 months to get a ROC and then we left.

I took everything pictures phone records (because I had a trip to Scotland) tax returns, letter from his job. things like that oh and a joint bank account, a bill with our address in his name.

Hope that helps:)

Right?!!! thanks we will!!

Yeah!!!! Congrats! Enjoy the break!
