Yes, I know that cyberfx1024. That's why I asked if she can schedule her medical exam 3 weeks prior(before) her interview date?

Yes, she can have her medical 3 weeks before her interview. SLEC works on a first come, first serve basis; appointments cannot be made. Your fiance will simply go to SLEC with her printed registration form and other required documents on the day of her choice.

Huh?? You are K-1? NVC does NOT schedule your interview, the beneficiary schedules their own interview.

Medical at St. Luke's is walk-in, first come, first served. You can complete the medical weeks early if you so choose, the embassy has no rule on this. Do note that the validity of the visa is tied to the date of the medical, the more time between the medical and the interview the shorter the validity of the visa.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

Most of the advise I read is 2 weeks. I would like to know if it okay to have the medical exam 3 weeks before the scheduled interview. Thanks.

I think 3 weeks would be fine. I scheduled mine over 2 weeks before my interview (Sept. 29&30), & my interview date will be on Oct. 17. But, still the procedure is on going because i need to take psych evaluation. I met someone in SLEC who took her medical 25 days before her interview.

Sorry for the confusion Philippines^Sagot. She's under F1 (Unmarried Sons and Daughters of U.S. Citizens). We'll get married after she got her green card. :)

When you said "my fiancee" earlier I figured K-1. Very unique situation for you.

:time: Be good if you update your profile and timeline to reflect your visa type. ;) Thanks
