I lived in an Arabian foriegn country for 7-8 months I was working there with working visa back on 2009.

My question is

Do I have to do police certificate from this country?

The consular didn't ask for it at the interview in my country.

And I'm still under AP since March 2016.

What should I do?

Thank you for the advice in advance.

As per NVC web page, If you lived anywhere at the age of 16 or older and you were resident there for atleast 6 months then you have to get police certificate from that country. I believe when we fill DS-260 it specifically asks for all the addresses we lived starting from age of 16, If it was not mentioned in your interview letter document list then you may have missed this section in DS-260.

I looked at the DS-260 I mention the position and the name in the company but in my country not in the other country but also I sent them a photocopy from the exit and entry my country again with my old passport and I mention that in other form if i was outside the country and for how long and i did this i think in biography form i think, but does that hurt if the consular didn't ask at all about it in the interview?

thank you guys for fast response, I really appreciate it.

this is what the Immigrant / Fiancé(e) Visa Document Checklist the Embassy sent me says

Foreign Police Certificate: A police certificate is required for all countries where you have lived for more than 12 months since the age of 16 and any country where you have been arrested, even if you were not resident there. U.S. police certificates are not required.

thank you

so what are you going to do?

i like you, was in a foreign country for 7 month so i'm not going to get a police certificate from there.

Because it says A police certificate is required for all countries where you have lived for more than 12 months.

But the other people here told you it's 6 months...

Nothing I'm going to wait and I think this info is right because they are didn't ask for anything so I will wait,I was just curious about it but I see there is nothing to worry about it.
