Hi all!

Just to let you know that the interview was a success today! :dance::dance::dance:

I am at a friend's in Manchester, should be back home in Glasgow tomorrow midnight, i.e. Friday.

The hardest part really was standing outside the embassy for nearly 2 hours in freezing winds. The staff was extremely friendly. The first time my number was called, I had to give my birth certificate, pol. certificate and I-134 and she told me that I will be called again in a few minutes for the interview.

I had to fill in the pink courier form in the mean time and was called again for the interview within 5-7 minutes to lucky window no. 13. The consular officer was a nice lady, very friendly.

When I got to the window, she asked me for a few minutes to get herself ready while she typed up something on her computer. I could see all my documents on her desk with a big red stamp "APPROVED" even before the interview started!!!

She did not even see the original employer letters and bank stratements, just asked for the photocopies. She didnt bother to see the pay stubs, tax forms etc. She asked me where we met and when was the last time we met in person and thats all!!

It really was so easy. We are so happy, I still cant believe it to be honest...how come it was that easy :wacko:
