How long it will take before the US embassy in manila would receive a notice from NVC that the petition filed is approve? And does it take long to recieve an appointment for medical and interview after the embassy would recieve a notice from NVC? What would be the beneficiary would expect does the embassy would contact that person or to receive a notice?

Normally around 4 months. You will be receiving a snail mail from them stating that they have received your petition and due to backlog it may take till 5 months for your interview.

You may also check your case online... via the Manila US embassy website. When your case is already posted you may get an advance information regarding when your medical and interview date is. After a month you may be receiving your interview packet.

I takes 2-4 weeks for the case to be transfered to the consulate. If it takes longer than that, call the NVC.

After the case is received, an interview date will be scheduled. For the Philippines, it looks like the interview date will be 4-5 months after the case is received.
