Hi there, just wondering how your husband's interview went. I hope all is well.

Thanks...no we haven't scheduled that yet. We have an appointment with our lawyer next week, and I was going to ask then, but I think I will take your advise now and get that done.

Hey there!! I tried posting a question but I don't know how to-- anyhow-- My father had his interview in Cuidad Juarez on Monday -- however I selected the DHL in his hometown-- which was the most financially adequate choice in our financial situation(he lives in San Luis Potosi which is 14 hrs away) I wanted to  know how long will it take before I can get a DHL tracking number? My thinking is -- If it takes 3 days to receive it had we chosen to have it picked up at the DHL in Juarez -- I Guess I should hope to get a tracking info hopefully by tomorrow or Friday? I had him send me via message a picture of the document that he received there after his approval and the instructions indicate to log onto the website that you posted earlier-- which is the same website that is used to set the biometric appt-- and I checked there and all is states is that it has been issued and printed and will be mailed to the indicated DHL site selected -- Thank you in advance for any help or input :-)

You should be able to get tracking info by calling the number in my earlier post.  It should be available by now.

Ciudad Juarez K1 Visa appointment March 2018!!!!!  We were feeling a bit strapped for money because this whole process can drain your finances.  I was hesitant as I was a first time user of AIRBNB...  We found "Abraham's place" which has three rooms and we stayed in room #2 and my sisters in #3 and was half the price of any hotel.  Very clean, secure and exceptional hosts:  Abraham, Myrna (wife) and their friend (Monica) were super helpful .. Our room had a double bed, nice shower, cable, wifi, kitchen, refrigerator, security doors and washer and dryer available for all tenants.  You have to walk about three blocks to the boulevard and catch the bus which was about an 8 minute bus ride for 7 pesos each way to and from the clinic/consulate.  We also used uber when necessary, but you have many stores close by.  We were approved and it has been seven days, but with the holiday it will take longer than the minimum expected of 10 days.  Patiently waiting for the DHL tracking number

That is great information. I wish we had thought about AirBnB but it didn't even occur to me.  Hopefully by now you've picked up your packet from DHL, but if not, I recommend not waiting for the embassy; call DHL direct at the nu,ber posted earlier in this thread.

Congratulations on your approval!
