Hello guys, I am new here and I've been reading some forums here about the expedite process for military due to their upcoming deploymeny. My fiancee is in the Airforce and will be deployed soon so he wants to bring me there as soon as we can so we can arange things before his deployment. so we are trying the expedite process. We call the military help line, He sends the expedite documents twice already but we got email from the USCIS that they don't receive any of it. Does any of you here experienced the same thing? How was your expedite experience? My fiance is so stress about this. Lol Any advice will hepl! Thank you in advance.

he needs to proceed with the military help as they are his best chance to follow thru on this

Have they cashed his check for K1?

Has he kept copies of all documents he sent to USCIS? / being in the military i am sure he has been taught to do this

He needs to call and call military helpline

they are trained and eaiser for him to deal with than immigration

Our case was 28days active now and he kept on calling the help line after they emailed us the requirements he should submit to expedite, we called them and they emailed him after few days that they haven't received any faxed documents so he emailed again and called and after 2 days they emailed him again today that they haven't received anything again. Lol This is so stressing. Have yoy experienced expedite process? How was the process of yours? Thanks! ?

I called, emailed them and had my case approved all in the same day. When I emailed them I received an email back in about an hour. The email he got should explain everything. Did he follow everything exactly such as putting the case number in the subject line and all that jazz?

Yes he did follow everything and faxed everything they needed. You just emailed them? Didn't call them? We only received an email days after he send and called that that they didn't received the faxed documents. How did you emailed them? Does that works?

Welcome to VJ. Thread is moved from the Introducing Our Members forum to the Military Discussion forum, to be among relevant threads.

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I first called and gave them my information...they sent me an email instantly with instructions how to proceed. One of things it said you could do was email everything so I did, it's all in the email they sent me.

From first phone call to case approval was less than 4 hours.
