ds-160 and applying for interview

I got the letter from the NVC saying they forwarded the package to the embassy in Manila. I then got an email from the embassy telling me to schedule and interview and complete the ds-160 form.

Question in should i get my fiance to do the ds-160 now or wait for the embassy to send her the needed stuff? My fiance would be the one to do the ds-160 correct? How and when would she schedule the medical before the interview?

I asked the same question and this was the answer I got:

1.) Pay your fee at BPI

2.) schedule your interview online

3.) complete your DS160 (your fiancé completes this but you or someone else can assist but she has to sign it).

4.) preregister for medical. This will save time when you get there but you don't "schedule" the interview as it is first come first serve

At this point in the process you need your MNL # that you can get from NVC if you haven't already done so. Once you have the MNL number then everything starts to fall in place. The petitioner can complete the DS-160 up to the signature portion. Have your fiancé in the Phil sign in and review the DS-160 and then she/he is the one who will electronically sign the DS-160.

There are so many more steps that you need to begin that there are too many to list here. Go to my website where I will walk through step by step what needs to be done.

http://tinyurl.com/ob9xoa8 use the tab NVC-MNL which is where you are now in the process. Return with any questions.
