Balatant discrimination against Iranians!

So exactly in what way are you being discriminated against?

All I see is a normal case of "I'm looking at other's timelines and I'm freaking out". Stop comparing your case to others. There will always be cases moving faster or slower than yours. There will always be timelines suggesting something. Did you check the USCIS timeline or VJ?

When I started the process all information I found said the whole process would take 6 months. It took 9 before I could finally come to the US. Don't focus so much on how long it is taking, you'll get there eventually.

Yes, as long as there are people claiming to be Muslims who are raping and murdering people people from Muslim countries will be more heavily scrutinized. Just like people on here from high fraud countries will be more heavily scrutinized. It's just the way it is because USCIS are trying to protect USA. It has nothing to do with discrimination.

Thank you for your suggestion. You actually helped me! I need to remain positive!

But I don't agree with you about murdering and raping by Muslims, although I'm not a Muslim. They are people from different nationalities attacking innocents, like white and African Americans in the U.S killing police officers and other people! They are not called terrorists because they are not Muslims!

Anyways, Thank you again for your help

Your name is Mohammad and you say you are not muslim, what are you then? Shiite?

You know that's also a part of Islam right? Considering it seems like 54% of the people (correct me if I'm wrong but that's what google told me!) from Lebanon are Muslim I am surprised you didn't know that.

You are so wrong, and bitter...chill out man. There are tons of Hindus from India waiting for 9/15months to come to the U.S. Your assumption that the delay in your case is because you are a Citizen from Iran is wrong.

Regarding job opportunities, my family doctor is from Iran, his wife is a doctor and she is from Iran as well. One of my colleagues, she is an attorney, she is from Iran too.All of them came to this Country to work and not because they got married, that being said the U.S receive with open arms all Nationalities.

Thank you for your time

Sure, I try to be calm and positive!

The problem of the delays for Iranian cases started this year! I mean I don't really know about the previous cases!

I really appreciate your suggestion

So you're saying only Muslims are terrorists? Or are you being sarcastic? Sarcasm doesn't really work in written form.

Glad I could help you become a little bit more positive about your situation. Immigration is frustrating but in the end everything will work out.

They use "terrorism" mostly for Muslims, although they are hundreds of killer in the world everyday and they don't refer them as terrorists! I'm actually not a big fan of religions as I'm an atheist, but at least this is very unfair for people from that religion.

You are right. Thank you again

I wish you all the best for you :)

Shias are Muslim.......

I know buddy. I was being sarcastic.

I do know that I was being sarcastic, being a msulim or not is his personal choice, it's not like someone will ask him if hes really a muslim or just carrying a muslim name. Shiites are a minority in Islam and believe it or not they do not share lot of beliefs with the other majority.

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

Sarcasm doesn't work very well in written form :) Sorry for not realizing it was sarcasm.

I believe that America is the number 1 in human rights violations.

Your belief is wrong.

Given your national origin, I would expect your applications to take longer since your background would require additional security checks. This is common for men from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
