Interview Moved Up- Concerns About Police Certificate

Visa won't be declined if medical results aren't at the embassy when you interview, you get a blue paper stating they are waiting results from your medical. Took me less than a week from Knightsbridge receiving the papers to CEAC saying Issued. Not the end of the world.

Okay thats really good to know! Hopefully everything will be sorted but if not it sounds like it won't be the end of the world anyway

If you're really worried, not that you need to be, and since this is a K-1, you could always move your interview to a later date to buy some extra time.

Right, we will do that if we have to, but we are trying not to since the next available appointment is almost a month after the one that we have! If all goes smoothly he will be home with me by early September :)

I have a question that is sort of related to this so rather than making a new topic I'll ask here:

On the Knightsbridge site it says you need your Police Certificate when booking your medical. I applied for mine last week so will hopefully receive it soon, but can I book my medical without it? I won't be having the medical until mid-september.

Yeah definitely! We booked ours as soon as we had our number from the NVC. They may ask you on they phone whether you have your police certificate yet, but if you tell them it has been ordered they should be fine with that especially since you are not trying to schedule your appointment right away. Good luck!
