RFE sent back to Missouri USCIS office

Hi,

I sent our RFE back with the required evidence (at least I hope I sent what they wanted) and I tracked it as having been delivered on 3/21 and signed for (we sent it USPS overnight mail with delivery confirmation).

I haven't received any notice that it was received from the USCIS nor have we been "touched" since it supposedly arrived.

When should I worry and make an INFOPASS appointment?

We seem to have very similar timelines.You got married on the valentines day?What a pleasant coincidence.I dont think that you need an infopass appointment.Just give it a couple of more days before you start thinking of that.What was your RFE about?I think that I will be getting one according to my status online despite the fact that I probably submioted everything they needed.I still havent done my biometrics.

I just mailed my RFE back today with signature confirmation to Missouri. I didnt send it overnight though; I think it'll probably take it like 2-3 days to get there. I wonder when I'll get confirmation from them. Anyone know the average time it takes them to get confirmation to you that they got it after it arrives there?

boo boo: I think our RFE was about needing the 1099s from my 2006 tax return. The RFE basically listed all the requirements for evidence with the Affadavit of support form, but it didn't say exactly what was missing. I just re-did both my form and evidence and my joint sponsor's forma nd evidence and the only thing that's different from what I sent originally was that I added the 1099s for my 2006 return. So we'll see.

I would love to hear how long it generally takes to be notified that they received the RFE, though. Getting worried!

I sent my RFE about 12 days ago, and I got an email from CRIS that they recieved the RFE and that my case has been resumed 3 days after, but I haven't recieved a MAIL confirmation. Am I supposed to get a mail confirmation??????

We waited exactly 2 weeks to receive confirmation that they'd received our RFE.

They will send u email confirmation when they have it. Mine is takes a week and 10 days to get an email.

I sent bacnk my RFE 14th March, I received confirmation from USPS delivered on 16th March.

I received a CRIS notice stating the received it on 19th March and had resumed processing it and that I should here something within 60 days.

I have not received any letter confirming the above.

I would check you Recipt Number online, if no change I would give it a few more days.

Update: just when paranoia reached ridiculous heights, we received the email notice yesterday (3/26) that the RFE had been received on 3/23 and the case has resumed processing. Didn't get a touch on 3/23, though.
