i have a quick question need help ,

i come wiith the K1 visa i got married in the 90 day , but i i stil have not apply for adjustment of status ,, my question is can i apply to have social security number , because i need it for drive licence .

You can only go now if your i94 is still valid and there's at least 14 days before it expires. If the i94 is already expired, you'll need to apply for aos first, wait for the ead or the green card, whichever comes first.

Passport and a copy of I94 provided there's at least 14 days left. Dont even have to be married yet.

You can check the validity of your I-94 at CBP website. Another quick way to know if it's still valid is to factor when you were admitted at the U.S, and figure out if you've spent up to 76 days since admission. Your I-94 should be valid for 90 days. Edited August 11, 2016 by Starkilla09

iam out of status mow , cus i come to us in march get married in may and we r in august , more than 4 months, so I94 IS EXPIRDED

In your case, you have option but to wait for your green card then.

That's very true, I blanked on the EAD.

Since your I-94 is expired and you are out of status, you will have to wait for your EAD or green card. Most states will not give a drivers license to someone that is out of status and accruing unlawful presence anyway. File for AOS/EAD/AP.
