Copies needed!

Hello everyone,

We had a successful interview on Monday (YAY!), however, there was one moment when my heart dropped.

We were at the first window handing in our documents and he asked us for the BC, MC and Police Report, and copies of each.

I had read on multiple places on here before the interview that you no longer needed copies of these documents at the London Embassy. Well, we were asked for them!

Lucky for us he gave us a not so happy look, but didn't ask further.

My advice, bring copies!

They didn't ask for any of my domicile, assets, or proof that my job will continue however, so that was easy.

Best of luck to everyone!

Hello!

And congratulations Sand1818!!!!!! That is awesome! My fiance will be interviewing at the London embassy too. We are still waiting our NOA2 so we have a ways to go. However, I'm not familiar with what an MC and BC is. Can you tell me? And thank you so much for sharing that we may need copies. It probably depends on the officer it sounds like, so we should have them just in case! Thanks again!!!!

Sincerely,

Jackie

Hi Jackie, Thank you, we are very excited!!!

Sorry for my shorthand (probably my personal abbreviations!)

MC - Marriage Certificate

BC - Birth Certificate
