If you have the last year (2015), it MAY be enough. They often want three years, but occasionally allow 1, especially with a co-sponsor.

Ok thank you so much !!

I'm aboard(not in USA ) and can't log into the its website. I had a profile or account or whatever you call it for irs but I can not log into the account was locked I forgot what password I used 2 years ago and every time I try to make a new account I put my ss # in it says I have a account. As stated I'll just use a cosigner since the irs is giving me so much problems

I knew I saved it but that's what I read

If you read that well, it is commenting on NVC, since you are filing DCF, everything will be reviewed directly at the embassy and will not pass for NVC in the states. This includes the I-864. All the paperwork is exactly the same for whatever type of filer. You just will have a different review process.

Do you have someone who will be able to send you an electronic copy of your tax transcripts if they are mailed to you last known address in the states?

You definitely need it, but you usually bring it to interview, and they review it then and there, rather than sending it ahead of time. That is what we did, and it is also what your quoted attachment says.

It depends on a consulate. The Consulate I was going through required to send it prior going to the interview. But in any case you do need it of course.

None of that has anything to do with you...that's NVC garbage. How does they imply you don't need it?

Just curious how that has nothing to do with me since I filed aboard and will be going through the nvc aboard ?? Obviously I read it wrong no need to attack me geeesshhhhh this is my first time going through the immigration process I'm not on my 5th husband or whatever I don't understand why people are so mean on here I knew nothing about the immigration process 2-3 months ago I'm learning just like everyone else is/has

We sent Tax returns instead of transcripts with attached W2 or whatever you have to send with them.

I found the following on the IRS' Get Transcripts FAQ page. I hope it helps.

I got a message that says the information I provided does not match what’s in the IRS systems. What should I do now?

Verify all the information you entered is correct. It must match what’s in our systems. Be sure to use the exact address and filing status from your latest tax return. If you are still receiving the message, you'll need to use the Get Transcript by Mail option or submit a Form 4506-T to the IRS at the address or fax number provided in the instructions.

I forgot my username, how do I retrieve it?

If you’ve forgotten your username, click the “Forgot Username” link on the login page. Then enter the email address you used when you registered before along with the last four digits of your SSN. We’ll email you your username. If you can't remember or access the email address you originally provided, you must re-register.

What do I do if my password doesn’t work or I forgot it?

If you can’t remember your password, click the “Forgot Password” link on the login page. You’ll need to provide your birthdate. Then we'll send a temporary password to your email address so you can log in. We require you to choose a new password.

If you entered the wrong password and you’re locked out, you must wait at least 24 hours before trying again. Remember that passwords are case sensitive.
