I agree. If this was one of my family members that was killed due to the negligence of whoever loaded the live round into that gun, you can bet I would be advocating for charges to be brought.

In this event, blanks did not have any business in the chamber either. It's negligence one way or another because the gun was clearly not checked for ammunition in the chamber as should most certainly have been the case.

After Lewis said that the department was unaware that live ammunition existed for the revolver he also said he was not sure how the fact that the gun was loaded was missed.
