I posted this in the embassy forum too, but I don't think anyone ever goes there.

I'm helping my brother-in-law apply for a visitor visa in Casablanca. I've submitted the DS-156 for him online according to procedure at the consulate in Casablanca. Once you've done this it says you can schedule an appointment by using the online scheduler. However, I've been trying to access the site all day with no luck. I'm starting to think that you can only use the online scheduler from a computer in Morocco to schedule an appointment at the consulate in Morocco.

Does anyone have experience with these online scheduling systems? I'm sure that many countries use them. Do you have to be in the home country when making the appointment? Unfortunately, my BIL has absolutely no idea about computers or the internet, which is why I am trying to do it for him.

Thanks for your help.

I don't know Jenn but good luck and let me know how it goes!

Thanks! I manged to get onto the site and make the appointment. I guess it wouldn't work from my work computer for some reason. Guess I need to learn a little patience! :P

Good! Is his appointment soon?

April 11th. That was the earliest one they had. Cross your fingers! I think it's gonna be pretty tough, but I'd hate to see him disappointed.

Well, if you don't try, then you never know! Good Luck to him!
