I wonder how you can be sure this girl isn't part of the plan. You might think she is being genuine with you that she truly loves you and wants a life with you but she may be saying this for you to go along with your part of her big plan - to marry her, get her a green card. Then watch for a VAWA claim or something of that nature for her to be able to remove conditions without you.

I actually think you're being played here.

How do you feel about having children at your age? She's of the age where most women are wanting to have babies, especially newly weds. Is that something you can see yourself doing at this time of your life?

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

We are planning on getting married first and then we will apply for a spouse visa.

We plan on having at least 4 kids together.

So have you announced your marriage plan to the whole family yet?

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Smart move going through the Marriage Visa it is your best chance, I would recommend Genetic Counseling and include proof when you submit it this would show you two are serious about family planning I know the state of Maine requires this for first cousins to Marry. Also check out this website www.cousincouples.com (I have in my family two cousins that married) . Front load your petition heavily with quality evidence (see the guides section), and be prepared for a stokes interview I can see that coming.

We are not cousins but rather first cousins once removed.

I don't live in Maine. Also, if marriage is done outside US, I would not think that any state can undo that.

Why genetic counseling? Going through all that would only raise suspicions. At the interview, we don't plan on bringing up that we are related. We will only answer if the question is asked.

The I-130 application does not even ask anything about being related. It's the I-129F for K1 visa that does.
