My wife (foreigner) and I (US citizen) have been living abroad for awhile, and we had a kid a year ago. As evidence that our marriage is legit, will the 'Consular report of Birth Abroad" suffice? His birth certificate is in Arabic and they kept the translation when we applied for his citizenship and passport. Instead of having to go get a certified translation, can we just use the consular report of birth abroad? It has my name and my wife's name on it.

The CRBA is something you might want to throw into the envelope along with lots of other stuff. Don't rely on that being enough to convince USCIS that the marriage is genuine. All it proves is that your wife is able to bear children. A child does not mean a marriage is genuine. Just as a childless marriage is not necessarily bogus.

You don't need certified translations. Just get it translated by someone who is prepared to sign the statement that the translation is accurate. Doesn't have to be a qualified professional translator as you are only using it as a supporting document.

Since you have been living together for a while, you have the greatest evidence of all. Send a copy of your lease agreement or mortgage, utility bills in both names, etc. Bank accounts in both names. They look for evidence of time spent together as a couple. And living together takes the gold medal for that.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

The issue there is that here in Saudi Arabia, my wife's name isn't on any lease agreement, any bills or anything. she doesn't even have a bank account, ours is not joint. I'm at a loss as to what else I can provide. thank you for your response, btw.
