Hello I have a question. I will have biometrics appointment soon and I am wondering if my passport and appointment letter will be enough. The thing is that I filed Aos with my new last name (husband's) but I don't have any ID with new last name only marriage license proving marriage. Also we sent certified marriage copy with Aos package and forgot to get new one, we have only original one but the other original is in the court for their records.

For the biometrics appointment, you need a picture ID that matches your name on your notification. So it sounds like your notification has your new married name, you just need to bring your marriage certificate that shows your maiden name + new married name, and your passport with your maiden name.

The marriage certificate may not show the new married name, but that makes no difference. Many states do not list the name you will use after marriage, but it still acts your legal name change document.

OP, take take your passport, letter and marriage certificate. They may or may not ask for the marriage certificate. Some have been asked for it, others have not. Be safe and take it.

Hello everyone, I've made biometrics (took passport, marriage license (certificate) and letter), now, can anyone tell what's next, please? Should I wait for some other letter?

I tracked my case on USCIS website and it says "case was received" and date when it was received.
