i agree, i don't think he was insinuating assassination. but, i do think it shows that he's not at all prepared to have the loud mic on the big stage. he's not at all a measured public speaker. but it is clear he knows how to "win friends and influence people". he's probably also (had) read (to him) the "48 laws of power".

This is another non-story, fabricated by the loony left who stay up 24/7 looking for things to manufacture and spin against Trump and feign outrage.

I saw the speech before all this "analysis" kicked in, and it never occurred to me (and others watching at the same time - including both Dems and Repubs - that those words could be twisted in that way. He was clearly referring to the power of the people in the voting booth.

i totally see how it could be construed that way. but i also see that trump could have been talking about 2nd amendment people coming together, like his camp said after the fact. trump doesn't think about what he says before he says it. it really wouldn't benefit trump's campaign if his supporters got all riled up to shoot hillary.
