Donald Trump faced a swift backlash on Tuesday after he suggested that gun enthusiasts would be able to stop Hillary Clinton from taking away their Second Amendment rights.

“Hillary wants to abolish — essentially abolish — the Second Amendment,” the Republican nominee said at a rally in Wilmington, N.C., on Tuesday afternoon. “And if she gets to pick, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do.”

Trump added: “But the Second Amendment people, maybe there is. I don’t know.”

Gwen Rocco, a member of the Clinton campaign’s rapid response team, quickly condemned Trump’s comments.

“Hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated.” – Coretta Scott King

"Oppressive language does more than represent violence; it is violence; does more than represent the limits of knowledge; it limits knowledge." -Toni Morrison

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.

This is another non-story, fabricated by the loony left who stay up 24/7 looking for things to manufacture and spin against Trump and feign outrage.

I saw the speech before all this "analysis" kicked in, and it never occurred to me (and others watching at the same time - including both Dems and Repubs - that those words could be twisted in that way. He was clearly referring to the power of the people in the voting booth.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

Oh I'm sure. But this isn't a new thing from Trump. He's talked about roughing people up and torturing family members. So I can see where the correlation comes from.

Amen. I watched the rally also....and he was talking about the 2nd amendment people doing the right thing and not voting her in. He even said right after that....that it would be a horrible if that happened.

Did the media go nuts when crooked Hillary said she was going to raise taxes on the middle class?

1. You do not have any transcript where Hillary said she was going to raise taxes on the middle class. In fact the opposite

2. How can you equate incitement to violence to an economic policy statement?

3. Trumps joke went off the rails, time to back off from this narrative. We have had too many leaders assassinated and attacked. There is no room for this playing around.

Hillary Clinton anno May 2008 responding to question about why she's staying in the race.

"We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California." referring to the chance that Obama might be assassinated.

I'm no fan of Trump and believe me, there is plenty of subject matter to go on regarding Trump. But folks, both Trump and the Trump bashing has reached idiotic levels.

All I've seen in the media is hypocritical, sensationalist slandering with no actual reference to policy alternatives.

He wants to deport 12 million people. "We have no realistic solution to preventing another generation from growing up undocumented, but he's racist."

He supports legal immigration. "He hates immigrants!"

He wants to ban Muslims. "We won't mention 'Islamic' and 'terrorism' in the same sentence, but he's racist."

He supports affirmative action. "He hates black people."

He support transgender bathrooms. "He's a bigot."

He wants to pull American troops out of [insert sh*thole]. "He's dangerous to world peace."

I don't believe she suggested in 2008 that assassination would be a way to stop Obama from choosing judges....

Anyway the secret service is aware of "comments", but what these maybe is anyone's guess. Trump's contributions to NAMBLA? Lol;)
