Hillary Clinton's campaign just threw down the gauntlet, challenging Donald Trump to accept the three presidential debates that have been scheduled.

In a statement Monday night, Clinton's campaign chairman, John Podesta, announced that Clinton would participate in the debates and said the "only issue now is whether Donald Trump is going to show up."

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

I learned the term "Vichy Republicans" from the comments on that Guardian piece -- thanks, Jacque! C'est parfait! :lol:

I went and read the comments as a result of your comments. I found the following comment rather amusing:

I've written this before but it just becomes more and more true..."In British English trump is synonomous with fart,therefore a Trump is a noxious expulsion of hot air from an arsehole, which as no place in decent company... I rest my case"...!!! Furthermore, usually follows a Trump...seems about right given the people "following" Trump...!!!

Doesn't matter at this point. If he doesn't, his supporters will say debates are "beneath" Trump and just a trap for the "liberal" media. If he does, he'll get points for just opening his mouth and saying words.

Watching Trump do what ever he does when his mouth opens reminds me of those Celeb Jeopardy skits on SNL

Trump will do all the debates. They do not like that the first two debates are on the same time as two highly anticipated football games.

Trump wants as many people as possible to watch the debates. He understands that when people see and hear crooked Hillary...people like her less. Her two qualifications are the woman card and she is related to Bill Clinton. (Allegedly they have even slept in the same bed a couple of times)

That's what gets me every time. Folks here be digging like moles to find anything on Clinton. At least when she lies, there's some effort put into it. She's a politician so she has to weave intricate fabrications. Trump is so lazy he just flat out lies with no real effort.
