my fiancé is 25 years old and he has never served in the Ukrainian military. What type of document does he need to get from the military to take to the interview in Kiev?

It doesn't matter if he served or not.

If an individual served, he/she should bring a Military ID.

If didn't, a person must be registered with the Service at his residence anyway. And they should have a record on him.

So your Fiance will need to get a "Registration Certificate" (I am not sure my translation of the document is correct) or so from the Military Office.

Here is the link. It's on Ukrainian. If your Fiance take a look, he will know what the document needed.

page 3, p. 4.

Good luck!!! :)

You are very welcome!!!!

Here is the link, from the web site of the US Embassy in Kiev. Very "user friendly' and really easy to navigate any info you need.
