Hello vj! I've been reading vj on/off for couple of times already. It helped me prepared documents and passed the crba of my youngest son. Now my concern is different.. its about my other son who is a filipino 7 years old and listed with our petition for fiance as k2 beneficiary.. . I wanna know if the said fee $265 is applicable for both k1 and k2 visa or i need to pay $265 for me and $265 for him.. Our petition was approved last month july 27 . And we waited a week to call the nvc to get our case number.. and they gave it already so now we wanna pay the visa fees but still not sure about the fees. So hope you guys could help me with this. The application fee for a K1 or K2 nonimmigrant visa is US $265, payable only in Philippine pesos at the prevailing exchange rate. There are three ways to pay the K visa application fee: cash payment at any Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) branch; online payment provided by BPI to their clients; or online payment via Bancnet.

It's a $265 payment each so for the two of you its going to be $530 total.

So $265 for you and $265 for him.

Hello! i have another question . about filling up the ds 160 for k1 and k2.. should i do it once for me and my son or of each applicant should have their individual Ds 160? thanks for answering in advance .

Each will have their own DS-160. Be sure to make a screen shot and print off a couple of copies of the confirmation page with the barcode for use later on.

Hey guys! I paid the fees for k1 and k2 visa. Then i made a call to embassy to set an appointment but the lady is asking if i received the letter of eligibility?? I havent received any letter from them so i have no idea what letter she is reffering to?? Is there anyone knows this letter of eligibilty shes talking about? Thanks for answering in advance ?
