Over 1 year and still waiting for I-751 approval CSC

It has been a year yesterday August 8th , 2015 that we sent in the I-751 paper work to the CSC.

Everyone else on the August 2015 VJ list has been approved for CSC and most all Vermont also,

We have done not one but 2 different case status request. With no response other than an auto email saying they will respond within 45 days but 45 days come and go with no response.

We have called in 4 times and talked to an immigration officer who just says to keep waiting. Last time we called in they told us to go to an infopass appt. It took us 2 months checking everyday for appointments to finally get an appointment today for 30 mins from the time we selected it. We rush to get there to just wait an hour for someone to basically laugh in our face, refuse to do anything and tell us that i-1751 can take up to 3 years for approval. When we told her that everyone on VJ and other websites have already been approved , she just laughed and said i guess you know it all then. We ask if there is anyway for her to call the CSC and ask to speak to the personal handleling the case to make sure it has not been lost. She says nope, we asked about getting my wife's passport stamped so that we can travel because my wife mother has been sick for a while and we would like to visit her. She says just go and come back before Sept 21 when the letter expires. We we told her it takes a little time to plan an international trip and would like to stay longer than the sept 21. She said she would not stamp the passport until 1 week before the letter expires. Furthermore she seem to have great pleasure in telling my wife that if she was denied approval on her i-751 while she was out of the country they would not allow her back into the USA.

This is just crazy. We cannot get any help. 99% of all the August CSC i-751 was approved around feb and march 2016. This is August and now they are telling us to wait up to 3 years before they are even willing to look into it.

I would contact your local representative and senators' office to have them contact csc. You are past processing date for csc. Very sorry for your experience with the officer.

1) that employee was not only mean but factually wrong. It does NOT take 3 years for ROC adjudication.

2) go for an InfoPass again. Hopefully you'll get a normal person this time and can get an I-551 stamp in your wife's passport so she has proof of her LPR status

3) your wife should file her N-400, this will force USCIS to finally adjudicate her I-751. Include a copy of her NOA1 for I-751 in the N-400 package.

As someone else said, write to your local senator and congressmen. My husband's I-130 took a year and a half and I wrote to 3 different local government reps and they helped expedite the case.

I wouldn't leave the country.... there's a chance they will interview you guys or send an RFE.

In my case they sent us an letter in the mail only a week and half before the interview...regular mail, no online status update...I'm glad we didn't missed it!

WinterPark, we are still waiting from August 2015 CSC ROC, too. All we keep getting is that we are stuck in security checks. A friend of ours applied in June 2015, and they only just received an interview notice for September..... There are others that are stuck, too, not just you guys
