DS260 LOCKED

Hi everyone! im a permanent resident here and before i left for the US, my husband is already stated in my DS260 as a follow to join. Now we are trying to fill out his DS260 but it is grayed out (locked.) Is there anyone here who knows how to unlock this? Im really stressed out. Thank You

Does your IV fee show as paid? The DS-260 doesn't unlock until it shows as paid in CEAC.

its not yet paid and im trying to pay it but the option for paying is also locked ?

Did you pay AOS and have your DS-261 reviewed? The IV bill only unlocks after DS-261 (choice of agent form) is reviewed. And once IV fee shows as paid in CEAC, you can then - and only then - fill out DS-260

You need to follow the steps:

1) fill out DS-261& pay AOS fee

2) have DS-261 reviewed (call NVC and have them go over it with you)

3) within 24 hours after reviewing the DS-261, the IV fee becomes available -> pay it

4) once IV fee shows as paid on CEAC, DS-260 is available to fill out

And anywhere between 1) and 4) you can send off the AOS and IV paperwork, you just need to enclose the bar-coded coversheet you get after paying the AOS fee.

You cannot switch the steps up in any way. The IV fee will not become available until after the DS-261 has been reviewed by NVC, and the DS-260 does not become available until after the IV fee shows up as paid.

@happiestofflives that's the thing, my husband's DS260 if LOCKED. We cannot click it nor do anything. Is there anyway u know on how to UNLOCK this?

Please read my last comment carefully and more than once. You have to complete all the steps in the order I have described or else DS-260 DOES NOT unlock!

I'm facing the same problem, can't pay IV fee after AOS is paid. Thank's a lot for the great info!
