Hey sorry for not responding. Again very happy for Greg also for teacat! Congrats great news.

I've been so fed up at this point.

After my new NOA2 september 14th, September 20th they told my senator that they would be sending out petition 1-2 days via UPS next day delivery to NVC. Thought i would be able to finally hear "RECEIVED" when I called NVC Friday or Monday latest but no.......

Senators office was also surprised and said they contacted uscis about WHY it's not there yet but are still awaiting a response. I don't understand What's going on....... maybe today I can finally call and get some good news? Teacat gave me some hope but not sure with my luck lately.

It's all good :( I was hoping you hadn't responded because you were too busy celebrating over it being received at the NVC, and I'm really sorry to hear otherwise. Very strange about the UPS thing- I actually asked my congresswoman if ours would be sent UPS Next Day as well, and she told me that it would be sent the way the original one was (via diplomatic pouch). I wonder what the story is with the USCIS clowns and your petition, but worst case scenario, it probably just got sent the normal way.

I am sure though that your petition is on its way, it might even be there already. It seems as if your and our visa fates are intertwined, so I'm sure that since we heard good news, you'll be hearing good news soon too. Sending you my prayers and best wishes, friend <3

I do agree with that! Our visa fates are definetly intertwined so I'm hoping it's there, on the phone now Nd will update you all soon.

Just out of curiosity- did ur recpiet number change when they issued you a new NOA2? mine didn't but wondering if it does change or changed for you??? Anyways I am grateful for your kind words and well wishes and am SOOO happy for you ❤️

Hi all,

I'm a little frustrated here. We received our NOA2 on July 1 and still do not have an NVC case number. What would cause this delay? I've viewed several timelines where people only waited 2 weeks. Does the country matter? Thanks in advance for any insight!

May be the country matters, because we got ours after 10 moths at NVC

any case can be accessed by some agencies at any stage, i think middle eastern countries are subject to extra scrutiny and extra delay

farzram, what docs you had to send to reconstruct your case? as i need to prepare for the worst, as my senator is still waiting for their reply, looks not good

04/06/16....NOA1 Text & E-mail. Case sent to CSC

04/08/16....NOA1 hardcopy received by post

04/11/16....called to USCIS inform about Name typo

04/27/16....Name typo updated

06/29/16....Got RFE

07/15/16....RFE was received by USCIS

08/01/16....NOA2 approved

WAIT/CALLING TO USCIS.. WAIT/CALLING TO USCIS.. WAIT/CALLING TO USCIS.. WAIT/CALLING TO USCIS..CONTACTING USCIS SUPERVISER..CONTACTING SENATOR..

10/03/16....Case sent to NVC (THEY LOST OUR CASE AND STOLE 2.5 MONTHS OF OUR HAPPINESS. Only senator's involvement helped to sort it out.)

10/13/16....NVC assigned case number (after waiting more than average)

WAIT/CALLING TO NVC.. WAIT/CALLING TO NVC...WAIT/CALLING TO NVC...LOSING MY MIND AGAIN..

11/16/16....NVC status changed to IN TRANSIT. Yay!

11/20/16....US Embassy received file but never contacted me

11/26/16....packet 3 received by consulate (packet 3 instructions was never sent by embassy, I sent packet 3 regardless)

11/28/16....interview scheduled on 12/22/2016

12/22/16....CO refused to consider self-earned income and refused co-sponsor. Refused to take in consideration my own assets and property income and well established freelance business. Asked to show $100K++ on bank account while he knew that we have maybe only $70K cash. 

03/22/17....After several fights was interviewed in Paris. They kept my passport. Was told Administrative Processing won't take more than 2-3 weeks.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! So happy it's finally there and I don't have to stress about this!

Ninz- basically when u reconstruct the packet- you send in everything you sent the first time around (except they don't have to be originals)

For example- copy of the I-129f petition filled out and signed with your signature(petitioner) , pictures (they don't have to be the same ones if you don't remember what you sent, I didn't remember and I just sent whatever I wanted) , proof you met (passport stamps, plane tickets etc) , I sent in my original intent to marry statement and an updated one with new date just to be safe, divorce papers if applicable, and I also sent in a copy of my NOA2.... and wrote a cover sheet basically saying: this is a RECONSTRUCTED PETITION - I was told to do this because your office misplaced my original petition. My senator/conressman was in touch with you (state their name) and let them know you attached your NOA2..... and also attention it to the person the senator instructs you to do so!!!!- on the actual envelope when mailing and also on the cover sheet!

I did this and had no problems. Good luck! ??

So sorry to everyone but found this thread because we are in the same boat. 4 August 130 approved, 5 August 129f terminated because 130 approved. Onto our 9th week and USCIS says they WILL send but still not at nvc :(

May 5 - I-130 Received

June 17 - RFE Received

August 4 - NOA2
October 3 - USICIS sent to NVC
October 12 - NVC received (69 days in limbo)
? - case number assigned
? - AOS bill paid
? - call NVC to review DS-261 and get IV invoice unlocked
? - IV bill paid
? - submit DS-260
? - send IV/AOS package
? - scan date

? - cc

? - interview date
