Hi!

The consulate received the packet today from NVC, super excited!!

Does anyone here have experience with El Salvador consulate? How and where do I E-Mail them to get the packets? Or do I wait?

I signed up on their website and they have available interviews in the next 7 days but don't want to schedule anything until I'm sure I'm following the right steps..

Again thank you for any input!

Efrain

I had several ridiculous experiences with them involving requests for never-ending and absurd paperwork and being denied entry to the embassy (as a US citizen). It's all sort of a blur now as I preferred to forget most of it but I just wanted to let you know I had a lot of luck emailing congensansal@state.gov when I had issues. Whoever is on the other end of that email address was really understanding and replied with well-written and informative responses as to what I should do/how to proceed. Not sure how I came across it as it's not listed on the embassy website but it was super useful.

I have email on the email that they have on their website and yes, they keep asking for weird paperwork. Like paperwork from NVC (I have not received anything from them)

I used their chat and the person stated that they are reviewing the case and to give them time, that they will send the packet 3.

I did came along that email that you provided (from another forum) and sent them an email this morning. Hopefully they can help!

I just not sure if the consulate in El Salvador has my email and don't want to wait on the snail mail.

Also they stated that I will get packet 4 with the interview date already given. True??

Thank you

To be honest I don't remember much about that part of the visa process, I think I've intentionally tried to forget about it as it was really frustrating. Just keep working at it and pressuring at it and it will all work out. If you're familiar with how "customer service" is in El Salvador than the embassy there is no different, it was awful when I was dealing with them.
