Child support calculated in Texas

Thanks all of you to answer my first post and this is my second post. Here is the situation and I need some serious advice –

As you know I am staying in Bangladesh with my twins who will be born any time now. So many things is going on in my mind now. Yes, my husband has been supporting me with my doctor’s visit, food and also he promised me he will continue to support. Best of my understanding he will support me financially as a middle class family. Just to mention originally he mentioned and we had a verbal agreement that I have to take care of his two sons which I was not able to do it. Always it felt to me those are not my boys so I tried to do it as a typical woman. So many times my husband begged me to show my smiley face to them but I did not do it. At the same time, I never expect that this will change so rapidly and I had to come to Bangladesh.

Now I am thinking to divorce him from Bangladesh since I already found out he will never sponsor me to go to USA. I came to know from my previous post that my kids will be US citizen mow or later sometime. I am getting little release here. If he never sponsors me, why should I sit back and I would like to move forward with my own life here in Bangladesh. If you guys help me to find out how much child support I may receive for my two kids till the age of 18 if I divorce right now as he is in Texas.

Here is the related info –

1. His salary is around 90k.

2. He is divorced (I think splitting his 2 boys with his wife) and paying around $500 per month for salary differential

3. How to calculate child support in Texas and how much I may receive from him monthly based on his current salary?

4. Is child support going up and down based on his salary change?

First I can't believe you wouldn't even smile to his kids. Yes they were not yours but what kind of person cannot even smile to a child, that is not what a typical women would do.

The twins USC has nothing to do with child support so forget that.

No one is going to be able to tell you how much child support you will get.

Child support is based off both of your incomes. You may not be working now but they will look and past and future potential income you had and will have and cost of living for both of you.

It also takes into consideration his expensive, health insurance and what he is paying in support for his first two kids and they also look at your expensive's.

His first kids get first consideration on support. If he is only paying $500 for child support with them you are probably going to get the same or less.

It is not like what your friend said you will not be getting a huge chunk of money just because of the kids. They take everything into consideration before they order child support.

If you don't think you will have any type of relationship with your husband and don't think he will bring you and the boys back then divorce.

But don't do something just because of what a friend told you, you may not be getting that gold mine like your friend advised. You need to think long and hard before you follow your friends advice.

The attorney will tell you what you can get.
