Hello everyone please read my story and give any advice. So I filed a K3, K4 visa for my wife and child. And the case was approved at the USCIS after waiting almost 3 years. And then my case was transferred to US embassy in Djibouti on 02, May 2016, they sent me an interview date to May, 30 2016, I couldn't show up with my family, so I asked for a new appointment or to be rescheduled to a later date, so they rescheduled me to June 15, 2016. I attended the interview with all requested requirements. But the officer at the consult told me that my case was transferred to a different embassy, and that he will request for it and that he will reschedule me to a new appointment date, and that day will be on July 31, 2016 as this the only day he have available, and wrote that on the appointment letter. And I will receive an email from him in the same day, or within 48 hours. But I never received anything from them. I waited 4 days and then I tried to call the embassy and all I got was a full voicemail answer, I tried to contact them through emails, I sent an email every week. But is no response. I don't know what to do or how to fix that problem. I went to the embassy as I was told on July 31, 2016 but I couldn't go inside because our names weren't in the gate. Please help me

Welcome to Visajourney!

I am sorry you had such a difficult time, first a case taking 3 years when it normally takes one, and then the transfer. Did they say what embassy it as transfered to and why? If you still cannot reach the embassy, I'd contact your elected representatives.

Thank you for your response. I Have actually contacted the IVYemen and they told me with an email that I will be finishing my final visa processing in the US embassy in Djibouti, where I actually attend, and that my case was ready for interview. I realy don't know what's going on ?
