Is psych eval by st lukes really takes a while?

Interview is aug 17 and schceduled psych eval is aug 15.. They said that is the only earliest slot for the eval. They also said they will try there best to get medical done before the interview. I just dont know how will they do it if interview is in 2 days. What if they didn't make it? Will the inrterview proceed? We did the 1st few parts of the medical aug 3...

Your going to be ok. You go to the interview as scheduled and SLEC will do their best to get your medical completed and sent to USEM in time for your interview. If your medical doesn't reach USEM in time for your interview you will still continue to have your interview. They will let you know that they can't render a final decision till your file arrives from SLEC using what is called a 221(g) and your case will go to Administrative Processing better know as AP. Once your medical does arrive they will complete your processing with a decision. This may delay you 2-3 weeks but it does not make it an automatic decline. Just a little set back.

Be sure not to quit a job, sell your furniture and belongs and do not buy an airline ticket till your visa is in your hands. Just some more patience for a hiccup in your journey. Many have gone before you in the same situation and they got their visa.

You can also reschedule your interview, you get to reschedule 2 time before you have to pay the fee again.

He's kidding. You may have a few more questions then the average person because of your evaluation. When you go to CFO just be confident, know your information and don't volunteering ANYTHING. Wait till they ask.

Yes. Go to the interview. Once the interview is complete they will tell her to go to window ?? and there they will give her a piece of paper letter her know to wait for an email which will contain further instructions. The email will be a 221(g) and it will state something to the effect they are waiting for the medical results and once received they will render a decision. Everything is moving along as normal as it can. So far you are doing all the right things. Just a little more time maybe another 20-30 days till she has her visa.

My mom wasnt given a visa aside from missing medical report they also want proof of relationship which we provided like pictures, our birth certificates.. what else we can show as proof of relationship? Any ideas? I hope they dont think our mother daughter relationship is fraud

Proof of relationship with your mom? And they said your birth certificate wasn't enough? That's odd... you can try sending any school or medical records showing your name & your mother's name, or even a baptismal certificate.

Start gathering any document that connects you and your mother.

1. Affidavit from Neighbors or close relative like your mother's brothers and sisters.

2. Any school documents like emergency contact, grade advancement nitices, school loan dics or report cards. Any of these as long as both your names are on them.

3. Any organization's that you belong to that she can be listed or shown to be your guardian.

4. Medical records showing her in the capacity as your mother.

If there any other documents you can think of include them.
