Hello. :) This is my first post, although I'm a long-time lurker of VisaJourney. I'm seeking some clarity on my current situation.

My fiancé (US citizen) and I are going through the K-1 visa process. I am the beneficiary. Our NOA2 was June 15th and the NVC received our case on July 18th. On July 28th I received a letter from the U.S. Embassy in London informing me that they had received an approved petition in support of my visa application. I have constantly been referring to the flowchart on VJ (so helpful throughout this process) and until today believed in due course I will receive another letter before I can attend the medical. Today it dawned on me that this might not be the case... I am up to date on vaccinations and have the other documents ready which are specific to the medical.

As of right now I do not have the Affidavit of Support from my fiancé, nor have I filled out the DS-160, both of which from what I've been reading are pertinent to the interview. Irrespective of this, do I book the medical now? What are my next steps?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
