Hello Fellow Journeyers,

It may not be appropriate to post these thoughts here, but I would like to share with you that being a part of this wonderful community over the past weeks has truly been a blessing. The timelines, statistics, questions, answers, advice, compassion, and support found here have all been tremendously helpful, encouraging, and inspirational. I can't imagine making this journey without VJ and you. Thank you all so much for caring and sharing and helping to make this crazy visa process easier to understand and navigate. I learn something new here every day, and I'm so grateful.

Some days the waiting and hoping drives me crazy and seems intolerable. But I always find comfort here knowing that I'm not alone. Thank you and best regards,

  • 2020.03.08 -- Naturalization filing window opened

I second that! I would have had to hire a lawyer if it weren't for this site, and all the helpful people in the forums. Being able to read about others' similar situations has removed so much stress from the K1 visa process for my fiancé and myself.

I was of the same thought as Cheezees. But I was pleasantly surprised.

I too have found this site to be a wealth of knowledge because there are so many people here who have the experience and passion to continue helping others even when their own timeline is complete! This site has provided a sort of light at the end of the tunnel even when things seem to be going nowhere with our own timeline, seeing others' moving along and hearing about their experiences is comforting and encouraging that we too can do this!

And look at this place... we're strangers from all over the world helping each other even when cultures and languages differ. In the end, we're all human, we're all in relatively the same boat, and we're all just trying to be happy.

So yes, thank you to this community for the advice, support, and experience! I hope to be able to return it one day!
