Hi there-

We didn't receive direction for Packet 3, which I don't believe exist any more. Packet 4 was mailed to my fiancés home, I received it by email because I asked for it.

We did the DS160, and he will pay his visa fee this week when he returns back to his parents home, he is working in another city. In any event, once he pays, we will schedule an appointment for the interview, medical and biometrics, and then wait patiently, ha ha. I am not the expert but I would imagine that you would want to do the biometrics maybe the day before that way it is don and you have it in case you an early interview. I heard that the medical should be don about a week - 10 days before. I hope this moves quickly for you and for sure keep us posted on your progress!

CC

Thanks!!! Also, good luck with the interview.

Hi Cricketman-

I did 3 years of tax transcripts, 2 recent month of earning statements, the letter from employer and I was able to get a letter from each of the banks I use. I am not sure how important the bank letter is but I did it just in case. I have read that some have been asked for it and others they didn't ask for a thing at the interview, better safe then sorry.

A lawyer I spoke to through my employer recommended 3 years of tax returns /W2, 6 last pay stubs, and letter from employer. My bank is ridiculously slow so I am probably not going to be able to take the bank letter - hopefully it is ok.

Thanks yall

For the affadvit of support, im reading that if your salary meets the requirement thats the only thing you have to list out. Is that the case for India or is it better to list everything else ?

Havent booked the medical yet - you just need the DS 160 confirmation I believe... there seem to be plenty of appointments at the center in Delhi so Im not too worried about that :)

Hi Yellaall-

How long did it take to book the medical? Did you have to email or did you call them?

We booked the VAC bio-metrics, and his interview......September 2 VAC, and September 9 for the interview!! Cant wait!!!! :energy: I am hoping he will be here around the 20th-25th of September by the grace of God! (L)

Booking the medical was really easy, took one day. I filled out a form on releclinic http://www.releclinic.com/appointments.aspx with my fiances info and they called her the next day and set up an appointment for today :)

I did wait for them to mail her the document from the fiance so that I wouldnt jump the gun.

It seems you have done the step on the ustraveldocs. So the VAC and interview are two separate days right ? How does the data picking process go....are you able to pick and choose or you have to take whats available. I am flying down to bombay and want to be there with her (even though I cant go inside)

Hi Cricketman-

He scheduled, the medical, VAC is a separate day from the interview.....The interview schedule looked like it had September 9 had 2 appointments left and the 16th had 10 appointments, the 23rd had 10 and the 30th had 11 (I just looked this evening) It seems like they are on Friday in Mumbai. I would make the appointment for both the interview and your VAC bio-metrics and there were plenty of them starting this week Aug 31st Sept 1,2, 6, etc.....You can probably do it a day or 2 before the interview. Keep us posted!!

It said in the Packet 4 that we received that I could attend - does it not say that in the Mumbai one? It was not an issue at all (the security guard at the front asked "petitioner?" and just let me in when he saw my US passport. Any news from you guys?
