Did you receive Packet 4 because you emailed them? Hang in there for appointments :energy:

I guess they had sent it via mail, but it did not arrive. So I requested via email and they sent it. Did you get an appointment yet or still waiting for packet 4?

Lemme say that if they are trying to make this process as unclear and stressful as possible, they sure are doing a good job at it!!! :rofl:

No appointment yet. Did you email to the US Visa Service Desk? That is where I sent it and their reply was .....

Thats so annoying! I emailed the support-india us travel docs address asking for Packet 4 via email because we did not receive it by mail, and then they sent the letter in their reply. I sent them the NVC case number, DS -160 Number, and visa fee receipt as well as his passport number and DOB.

Good luck!

(Although the famous Packet 4 has done nothing to clarify when the interview is..... :crying: )

So I heard back from the consulate :- They are reviewing my case and this can take some time. Once the review is done they will send mail to my fiance.

quick question...are you guys still able to see available appointments? I called the embassy again, they said to just keep checking and that no appointments have been released yet and they cant tell me when they will release them.

A: You may schedule an appointment a maximum of 3 times with one MRV fee receipt.

B: Please provide accurate contact numbers (In India) and email ID on your profile so that you receive timely updates.

C: While completing DS-160, please select the exact Embassy/Consulate where you would like to be interviewed or submit your drop box application.

D: Please carry a photograph as per U.S. Visa specification for minors below 14 years of age, while visiting the Visa Application Center.

E: Each visa applicant must independently meet the renewal category criteria to qualify for interview waiver if applicable. Family/group member not eligible for renewal category should apply individually.
