Hello !

Can anyone tell me their experience with the K1 visaand how long it took you to be contacted by your local embassy ? I tracked my package and it arrived around the 27th July and the case status changed to 'READY' on the ceac tracker on the 29th July. Its been 7 calender days since then (OR four business days) since the status changed. Is this normal? I'm starting to get very worried and concerned that something is amiss. Another K1 applicant at my embassy received the packet 3 within two business days so I'm a little concerned since it was only a few days ahead of mine. Let me know what you guys think? I've sent multiple emails and called the embassy, but all they say to do is wait for an email response. Sigh

Any experiences anyone would like to share? Thank

USCIS:

2016-04-16: Filed I-129F

2016-04-18: USPS tracking shows package as delivered

2016-04-20: NOA1 E-mail received. Routed to CSC for processing.

2016-07-13: NOA2 App Notification. (84 days)

2016-07-19: NOA2 Hard Copy Rec'd

NVC:

2016-07-28: NVC case received

2016-07-29: NVC case #

2016-08-02: NVC left to Embassy (In Transit)

Embassy:

2016-08-04: Case is "READY"

2016-09-07: Medical exam

2016-09-12: Interview (APPROVED)

2016-10-01: JFK POE (Ticket booked)

Do you mean the embassy? Yes I called, the receptionist isn't to take messages or transfer calls to the consular section. They both told me so send another email :sleepy:

Called NVC today , they say it may take another week at most, if not to call back. Sigh
