I'm a 20 year old (un-married) Canadian citizen, my mother married a US citizen when I was about 14. I'm in the US currently as a visitor staying with my boyfriend, I'll be applying for a green card through my stepdad because I decided I want to actually live and work here. I came to the US at the beginning of May and I'll be sending in my application at the beginning of September. My concern was about turning 21 in mid November, will this affect my application?

If so what would my options be at that point?

Just make sure to send in the petition prior to you turning 21. CSPA means that as an under 21 child of a USC, your age will be frozen the day your step-dad submits the Form I-130 petition on your behalf.

Also, you'll need to remain unmarried in order to be eligible for this category.

Will you also be adjusting status since you're already in the US? You can send in the Form I-485 meaning you can stay in the US and won't need to go back to Canada.
