Quick question for all those who went to their biometrics appointments already. When do we expect a status change in our cases?

The biometrics appointment letter has two case numbers on it, the one on the left side being for the I-751 and the one on the right for the CRI-89. Our CRI-89 hasn't changed after biometrics, it still just says your case was received and to follow the instructions on the letter sent out (the appointment letter). The left side case number (I-751) still does not show any result in the USCIS case tracking. Is this all normal a few days after biometrics? When do I expect the I-751 case number to return a result in the system? Will the CRI-89 tracking number ever update again or does that one not matter now that biometrics is done?

Thanks for sharing your experiences!

p.s. I know there are a few posts about "after biometrics" on the board, but I couldn't find anything specific to I-751 filers, so hopefully this information will be of help to others.

In my case there was no status change until the case was approved, more than a year later. During that year, I got an RFE and an interview notice, but like I said, the status never changed until they approved the case. So, keep checking your regular mail for letters from USCIS.

My I-751 receipt number never showed a result.

It will take them a year at least just to start looking at your case then wait another 6 months for them to send you and interview notice then wait forever for them to make a decision..it might take up to 5 years in general for this to be processed

How long did it take them to make a decision after the interview?
