I-864 question - Do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition?

I am having my sponsor fill out the I-864 and I stumbled upon this question that I don't really understand. Under the 3rd part it says there:

1. I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part 2.

Yes No (Applicable only if you are sponsoring family members in Part 3. as the second

joint sponsor)

2. I am sponsoring the following family members immigrating at the same time or within six months of the principal immigrant named in Part 2. (Do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition.)

He is going to sponsor my husband and son. I am filing separate I-130's for both of them, Should I put my son's name there? I am so confused?

No, you don't need to put your son's name there since he's listed on a separate visa petition.

Question 2 is for any family members who are immigrating as derivatives on the same petition. For example, if he was sponsoring lets say your brother, and your brother's spouse and children were also immigrating as dependents, then you would list the names of your brother's spouse and children in Question 2.

Thank you for clearing that up. So for each I-864 the total household size will just be 2? My co-sponsor is single and has no children.
