Hello everyone. Could someone kindly clarify the police certificate requirement for me. I lived in Dakar, Senegal for 8 months. I've read that a certificate is required for any country I've lived in for more than 6 months; I've also read that it is required if I've lived in any country for more than 12 months. I know I will need one from Ghana. Will I need one from Senegal too? I'm doing the IR1.Please help!!!

You are required to submit a police certificate from every country you've lived in for 6 months of more since age 16. Keep in mind that it takes 3-4 months for Ghana to schedule your interview after the NVC stage. So you may need to get a second police certificate before the interview since they are only valid for 6 months.
