Hi,

I will be attending my interview at the US cosulate in London. Could someone please advise me whether I need to take in original documents regarding my fiance? (He is my petitioner.) In particular, do I need to take in his original US naturalisation certificate? Will I also need a notarised letter of intent from him?

Thank you in advance,

Aasiya

Nothing from the petitioner except his I-134 Affidavit of Support and proof of income.

Exception:

Your petition approval NOA2 Is valid for four months. If you haven't interviewed before the expiration date, your fiancé in the US should send a new letter of intent for you to take to the interview. It does not have to be notarized. It will not normally take you longer than four months to get to the interview from NOA2, so most never need that new letter of intent.

The London list of what documents to take to the interview. https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/required-documents/

In addition there a some confirmations to take.

1) Confirmation that you submitted the DS-160 online

2) Confirmation you booked an appointment online

3) Confirmation you paid the visa fee online

3) Confirmation you paid the visa fee online

I am confused about this. I seem to be receiving conflicting information regarding whether I have to pay online now, or do it at the Embassy. Please send me a link where it says I have to pay online before the appointment, and how much.

I do believe you, but I just want to read it for myself first.

Best,

Aasiya

If you have an interview date already you should have already paid, if not then you pay at the time of booking the interview.

You receive K1 instructions from London when they are ready for you to apply for the visa. Did you not go to their website and read them? Instructions for London: https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-a-fiancee-visa-instructions/?_ga=1.21353851.1134612612.1470289951

Step 5 tells you to book an interview and pay.

In the right column of that page under Additional Resources, there is a link to Visa Fees where you can look up the amount with your own eyes.
