They might go over the crime/admissibility questions on the I-485.

I was assuming a clean past, now I am intrigued.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Even if the applicant put "no" on all those questions, USCIS often asks a couple of those questions at an AOS interview, which I assume the OP is asking about since they call it a "Greencard interview."

I imagine it's to get a baseline about someone's mood/demeanor and to help gauge if more questions need to be asked. So it's like "Are you a Nazi?" "Um, no." "Did you move to the US to engage in prostitution?" "No." When did you arrive to the US?" "Such and such a date." "Okay, you are approved."

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Well I was not a Parent but missed out on those questions.

Nazi one would have been good for a laugh.

Prostitution, how much are you offering I guess is the standard response?

Yes.

Perhaps he did not fancy me.

Hi everyone,

Can someone share their experience of receiving a 'informational pamphlet/notice' with the interview letter because I got one like this. Just wanted to if this is the kind of notice they send to everyone. I just wanted to be prepared if there are any questions. I have attached a copy of that document as it is because it doesn't have my name on it.

Thanks,

sn@5127

Can anyone share the "heading" of interview letter I want to compare mine with others.

My inter view letter says "REQUEST FOR APPLICANT TO APPEAR FOR INITIAL INTERVIEW"

Just wanted to confirm if this is USCIS standard heading

Would appreciate if anyone share their experience about a parent of US Citizen AOS interview:

Just curious that USCIS has sent an interview letter to me (Parent) however, my son (Petitioner) has not received any correspondence from them. My son (petitioner) plans to be with me in the interview with all support documentation anyways.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think they need to interview the petitioner when the beneficiary is the parent. Obviously their relationship is verified already. It's not like spouses when they have to gauge if the relationship is bona fide.

There is a situation that my son (petitioner) hospitalized and will be there for a few more days. Due to this, I have a made a request to reschedule my interview with USCIS. They said that are going to send another interview letter in the mail which should arrive in next couple of weeks. My question is that if anyone knows how long (how many weeks) it may take for an actual rescheduled interview.

Thanks in advance.
