So I'm the USC petitioning for my husband who is in El Salvador (I'm in the States), case is already in USCIS since April, but I've been thinking in going to ES to live while the process is in progress cause we have 2 baby girls and we've been apart for so long that I just can't anymore. Does anybody know if that's possible meaning will it affect my case or it wouldn't matter? We will still have a residence to come.to live once his papers are done.

PD: forgot to mention before I lived in EL salvador for about 9years and just came back last year.

Thanks

it will not affect your case

you can check your case status online while its with the USCIS

once they pass it to the nvc , you both can fill out the necessary things and send it to the nvc from there

would suggest you to prepare ahead on what all you will be needing at the nvc stage before you leave for ES

Hi guys.

So I asked before if there was any problem with me going back to my husband's country while the process is completed and had a couple of responses saying that there was no problem, the situation has changed cause my case was approved on 08/15 so it will be soon sent to NVC, can I still go back or do I have to stay in the US also who do I notify about me leaving the country? And last but not leas (lol) does anybody know how can I pay the remaining fees I read it has to be through US bank account but I don't have one.

Thanks again for your help
