Document Delivery Service...scam?

Status: Her case was processed normally through the NVC and she got issued the interview date (Seoul embassy). She has completed her medical exam and will take that to the interview when she gets the results + all other documents. All good.

Is there/what is this document delivery service? She found something saying that prior to the interview date "You must select a delivery address for your passport's return prior to the date of your visa interview appointment." I haven't been able to find this anywhere on the NVC site or through any google searches. Anyone have any idea what this is?

It's not a scam. You don't see that in NVC website because NVC doesn't deliver visas/passports. The second link is where you create an account to have the passport delivered.

If you have doubts, go through US Embassy at Seol website and look for immigrant visas and look into interview appointment/scheduling. Since your interview is already scheduled by NVC, you can just pick for delivery option in that interview scheduling website (ustraveldocs.com/kr)

Spouse:

2015-06-16: I-130 Sent

2015-08-17: I-130 approved

2015-09-23: NVC received file

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-05: Received IV invoice, IV Fee Paid

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

Routine for countries with out good or reliable mail service. They will deliver to a document place where you can pick up.
