My interview was today for my fiancé k1 visa unfortunately when we got to the window to give all our paper work our case was not even on file and they send us home without been interview, I call NVC and was told my case was sent yesterday, this is so frustrating now I have to wait God knows how long and stay in santo Domingo for a few days more hopefully..

I'm sorry....if it left yesterday by next week should be ready mine left the 26 arrived the 28 ready the 29.

Yes I did recieve that so I'm not sure what happen.. The lady at the embassy said that they didn't even had the case or knowledge about the case she even ask my fiancé for a different name which was his brother, than she ask me to call NVC and see what was going on...

I don't know then because I got that email with my fiancee info as the subject line.

Now I'm worried.

I know mine is a Dominican embassy I tracked it from NVC TO DR I even have the name of who signed for it.

No way they can tell me come back I'm only going for three days....

Trust me I'm angry my flight is the 8th so now I have to cancel flight and the worst part my kids are with me so 3 tickets and god knows how much all this is going to cost me.

I'm going the 18 to the 21 no kids though with all these fees I can't afford air fair for three...and wedding...and AOS too much.

This may be cheaper. Honestly....if case left yesterday then case will be ready sometime next week. Monday or Tuesday.

Yes I think so too!! God knows what he does and why he does it.. So I'm leaving and returning back right away..

Case says ready on the web, but they said I need to wait for a letter not sure what's going on now I just want this to be over... Any suggestions? And how would I know if the embassy has the case?

They will email you a letter saying that its ready to interview.

I got mine 7 days after said ready.

If you are sure yours left and it says ready honestly it should be.

Did it say ready before?? When you schedueled??

Yes it did but the date of the interview nothing was there when I got home and call they updated it and it change the date the case was ready to the date I call..

In this case I would wait for the email from the embajada as long as your ds160 was done they will email the email you provided. I think you only get one one option to reschedule or you have to pay visa fee again.
