Why not give it a try? Halt the immigration process, move to India and have a kid.

It should resolve your concerns including your virginity. Subsequently, you can start the immigration process.

I'm sorry but seriously what is wrong with you? Having a child Never fixes a marriage and you should never bring an innocent child into a situation such as this. This is a very foolhardy comment and is just as bad as women thinking that having a baby will keep a man around. It doesn't and just causes more problems and the child is the one who ultimately pays the price. The OP clearly has some strong jealously and trust issues and this kind of solution would only exasperate this.

Perhaps OP should ask his wife for STD test results now. How about that, huh?

One should be cautious and request STD/AIDS/HIV test results. Or better, couple should go together to get tested. There is lot of awareness being generated about this.

DNA has mend or broken lot of relationships. It is also used in paternity cases as the evidence is applicable under court of law.

It is far from foolhardy. You can collect the data set and run a trend for the marriages saved by having kids. Alternatively, you can also find the same guidance via marriage counselor or if you are religious then through your church/priest/mosque/mullah etc.

  2. Has issues with her spending time with the opposite sex - could be valid concern if wife is cheating. how can you be 100% sure that she is not cheating? do you any proof?
  3. Can't sleep because of above issues - naturally if you are worried, you gonna loose sleep. doesn't establish trust issues.

Yes exactly, and the OP has stated himself that he has Jealousy and trust issues with his wife!! But the point is for the OP, don't bring a kid into the mix, talk to your wife openly about your concerns and listen to what she has to say as well. Again, marriage is a two way street and it takes both parties to make it work. You can't force someone else to love you and stay faithful, the other party has to make those choices and if you both cannot commit to the marriage and cannot see a life together, get out now, divorce and move on and find someone whom you are compatible with, love and trust and can spend the rest of your life with.

Let's say you were cheating, would you then take photos and show them to your husband? Sounds pretty dumb.

And, try asking for a STD, etc test in India. They'd laugh you out of the house.

..More to OP's point, he does seem to have trust issues; but at the same time, demonstrated valid concerns about his wife's behavior wrt to her keeping her lifestyle hush hush from the husband.

kierenhby - I actually did get my HIV and AIDS tests done in Mumbai. Yes, included whole suits of STDs as well. The hospital, my friends, my american spouse...I didn't hear anyone laugh.

Some of have more colourful life. So it's better to test!

A lot has happened in this thread since I last posted and there are some very good advice given. Now that I have seen some follow up details about this situation from the OP there is some big decisions that has to be made. I am just going to summarize the most valuable (credit to members whom have responded and offered great advice).

  • Immigration should definitely be put on hold right now. You have bigger things in your marriage to work on.
  • Having a child with your wife before all of the trust issues, lying, immigration issues, and huge uncertainties about your future are resolved is a big.... NO!
  • Being a virgin before marriage is not a big issue to many but it may be for the OP. LYING about being a virgin is a HUGE issue especially in a culture where these things can be sacred.
  • The mother-in-law is using fear tactics when she speaks about alimony. Don't fall for it. You can google it, research it, and ask a lawyer about it. Alimony is NOT going to happen.
  • And lastly, the communication between you two is an epic failure. And I'm not just talking about the lies from her. The mere fact that you are sharing your concerns and issues of her activities on a message board and not with her directly is a big indicator that you two are not a union. This is the woman you wed and she should be the first person you reach out to if you have any issues. Reach out to her immediately and open the lines of communication. Even if you hear things from her that may hurt you. It is better to know than to have all these doubts in the dark.

There were few other lies as well and interference from her step mother sisters giving her training on how to control husband. After living with her for 20 days and coming back to US as I found these lies I confronted her and lectured her a few times. I later checked her facebook history and all which showed she's searching for ex boyfriend name until this day on facebook. She also went to cafe with another friend who gets really close to her and almost leaning on her while taking pictures. I confronted her on that as well and now she's being more sneaky. I really don't want her if she don't have any respect for this marriage and want to keep sleeping with ex boyfriend or other guy friend. It's driving me insane, I can't sleep more then 4 hours each night. I haven't told her yet that I found out about her exboyfriend because her step mother wants the marriage to not work out and get alimony. I have worked way to hard to lose it all to this girl.

If you don't want to be paying alimony, I wouldn't be bringing her here.

Cancel the I-130 immediately.

Why not give it a try? Halt the immigration process, move to India and have a kid.

Seriously, if the poor guy can't sleep now, just wait until he brings here here and she was seeded by some other guy before showing up.
