Good! Now I don't feel alone. This is what *I* have had to do so far:

1. I did the old I-864 including the notorization which was sent to the NVC and then cleared and then and only then did my stuff go to the embassy-- because my I-130 went first. And they can't seem to tell me if I am K3 or CR-1 definitively! Arrrrgggghhh!

2. In the packet and checklist for my husband, it only listed the I-864 as a necessary document, and this was the new one without notorization. Now, based on others' experiences, I am freaking out thinking I should do this I-134.

3. )*&()*^)*&% inconsistencies!

4. #######.

5. (falls down dead from stress.)

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

Casa is no longer asking for the affidavidt of support fo rhe K-1 visa. You wil have to show all the finacial diocuments to do AOS however.

don;t worry about the wait. I missed any info on your interview you may have posted. Did you get a 221g saying that security checks needed to be completed safter the interview? This is the norm for Casa. You can check on teh progress of these checks by calling the DOS. they wont tell you a lot of information, but they will tell you if the checks are complete or still on-going.

Good luck to hear something soon.

Take a nap while you are down there and get some rest! hang in there. I know its frustrating and the consulates just do not want to make it easy for anyone. You will get through this and all this stress will melt away and things will be so much better.

CR1 does not need the I-134!!!

K3 does need it for Jordan I am sure of it, I do not know about Egypt.

Cr1 has already had this approved when they had case complete. If you read the I-134 it is very clear it is for a non-immigrant, K3 not immigrant CR1. I know this is very confusing but if you follow the checklist and include what they ask for then you are perfectly fine. If it comforts you to include other forms "just incase" then do whatever makes you feel most comfortable. The worst thing that can happen is you did it for nothing but ease of mind, no harm no foul. Trust me I do understand just going through this that it is very nerve racking and takes a toll on our emotions and relationship. I was fortunate that we only knew two weeks in advance so I only stressed really hard for a couple of weeks.

For K3 we had to have the I-134, DS 156& DS 157, police certificate, Original Marriage Certificate, His original divorce Degree, his originial birth certificate along with Certified English translations of the documents, the medical exam paper, the reciept for the $100 from the Amman Bank, and proof of our relationship. I want to honestly say that is all we needed. The only problem like i have stated before is that on the I-134 the notary attached a paper and stamped the notary stamp on the attachment.

I am not sure what the CR-1 check list is but I am sure it is very differetn and these forms have already been processed and appoved that is how the case was completed.

:)) Actually my stress is more thesis related. Sigh.

Angie-- I decided to email Amman again and ask the same question i keep asking, but this time asking regarding the forms to bring. We'll see if they want me to be a CR-1 or a K3!

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.
