Hi,

Does anyone have any information about booking their K1 interview in Montreal? I've heard somewhere a few spots in August were available. Are there spots available lately?

Thanks.

I'm also wondering what the next dates available are. Anyone have any info?

Call NVC if possible because they had just started to schedule at the end of last week. I got my CR-1 interview date! They are booking for late September now

Hey! So I booked my interview today!! There were lots of times open for September 14, 21 and 28. I think i even saw one as early as August 31. Not too bad. Also, they only do them on Wednesdays so if you need your medical you have to book it 3 business days earlier! Lame. So basically you have to spend a week in Montreal. Also the email was suuuuper confusing about payment--it says you must pay cash in the packet 4 email from the embassy, but that is not true, you can pay credit card.

Also, i sent my packet 3 every 2 days and today i sent it and got the packet 4 in 2 hours from sending the email so if you havent received it try re-sending your packet 3!

Hope this helps!

Wow that is really helpful, thanks so much! I've been sending packet 3 every couple days too, glad I'm not the only one annoying them haha ;) Did you actually get a notice from the consulate from Packet 3 or not?

No notice requesting packet 3. They only sent the packet 4 email. It was the most exciting email ever!! You will get yours soon, i am sure of it! :)

I have been emailing Montreal and they said they shipped Packet 3 two days ago!

Can I send the documents via email now before I receive it by mail?

Yes but keep in mind you are only sending the signed checklist and ds-160 confirmation.

Just received packet 4 today and booked my interview for Sept 21!! So relieved! That wasn't the closest available date, the closest was Aug 24.

Also still haven't actually received packet 3, but I was sending it every day by email to them. Those of you who haven't sent packet 3 yet, do so! This is how you can speed up the process!

Hi,

I got Packet 4 back from Montreal for our K1 and it gives me instructions to proceed with booking the interview; on the booking site it says DS260 number instead of DS160. As well as the instructions saying "Choose permanently immigrating to the US" under intent. Seems like I got the immigrant visa packet. Have I received the wrong one? Does anyone who has received Packet 4 know which email they sent to if they got the correct packet? I sent to "IV-DV".

Which site is it? They sent me "http://canada.usvisa-info.com/"

Does it matter that they sent me Packet 4 for Immigrant Visa?

It keeps redirecting me to the green "Immigrant Visa" site. Which option do you put for "Non-Immigrant"? There's none for "I am a Canadian citizen who has completed DS-160"..
